Horderns Reserve will be renamed in honour of Bundeena icon Bernice Forster.

Sutherland Council approved the renaming in last week’s Council meeting after a four year struggle for the initiative by the Bundeena Progress Association.

Bernice Forster who passed away five years ago at the age of 83 was a long time resident of Bundeena dating back to the 1930s. The old corner store which burnt down several years ago was built by her and her husband.
