Plans to redevelop the current Bundeena main street building which houses The Fringe and Century 21 office was knocked back by Sutherland Council but the developer has reapplied with ambitious plans which include car stackers.

The works at Bonnie Vale are still ongoing and are not expected to complete til November at the earliest.

The vital pedestrian link connecting Bundeena and Maianbar will stay open during planned works.

While the current Bonnie Vale upgrade will please some others in particular the Bundeena Maianbar boating community has felt left out. In an open letter to the NSW Department of the Environment one local resident vents his frustration.
