Maianbar Winter Warmers
Beat the Winter Chill
The annual Maianbar Winter Warmers Festival is on again on Sunday 5 May 2024 at the Harry Tierney Community Hall. The hall will be open from 10am to 3pm.
The festival features locally hand-crafted items including hats, shawls, beanies, gloves – with and without fingers – scarves, capes, bedsocks and slippers, exotic pincushions, tea-cosies, native-animal door snakes and cuddly toys.
As well the annual raffle will feature a special handmade quilt.
The funds raised on the day are donated to charity with this year's recipient being the Street Side Medics who are a group of doctors operating from small vans that enable them to reach the homeless community across multiple locations.
