A total fire ban has been declared for Bundeena Maianbar and the Royal National Park

While there are no imminent fires in the area residents are encouraged to take standard bushfire precautions. These precautions include monitoring local media for fire reports, cleaning gutters and preparing a bushfire survival plan.

Under the Extreme level a Total Fire Ban is in place.
