Bundeena accommodation venues topped the Sutherland Shire Tourism Awards again this year.

The annual awards celebrate a variety of tourism related areas in the Shire including accommodation, activities and individual contributions.

The  judges who come from various sections of the tourism industry remarked on  how impressed they were with what the Shire had to offer for visiting tourists and on several occasions gave special mention to Bundeena.

A special award was given to Maureen Keller (pictured above with Mayor David Redmond) for her outstanding efforts and promotion of tourism in Sutherland Shire. Maureen who runs Bundeena Beachhaven and Bundeena Bushhaven has served on several tourism committees over the years and has tirelessly worked to promote both Bundeena and Sutherland Shire.

Les & Natalie Wickens of  Brightside Bundeena came runners up in the small accommodation category.
