Two Dogs – Bundeena’s Newest Sculpture

A new sculpture has been installed in Bundeena as part of the Chamber of Commerce’s sculpture walk initiative.

The sculpture is located overlooking Horderns beach near the access bridge to the beach.

It was created by NSW artist Daniel Clemmett and is titled: Two dogs in a house, on a boat in the water.  Daniel has made an international reputation for creating sculptures from car bonnets and has pieces in private collections in Australia and Europe.

It is a beautifully whimsical piece that shimmers in the sunlight changing colors as you move around it.

The sculpture was made possible by the efforts of the Bundeena Maianbar Chamber of Commerce and thru a grant by Sutherland Shire Council. Chamber committee member Marion Stehouwer hopes over time a number of sculptures will be installed throughout Bundeena Maianbar and indicated funding has been secured for the next planned sculpture.
