The pottery studio Something at Mary's had an interesting request recently from a visitor to Bundeena who had been looking for a special gift for a very good friend. The friend had a fascination with Jersey cows, (and red wine……) and her house is a testament to this.

After a bit of discussion it was decided on two cows to flag the outdoor patio doors and came up with the concept of the “tipsy guard cows”. Janet and Marion had worked on one cow each (a male, and a female) after Janet had sketched out the idea and prepared an initial maquet. The cows were presented to Robyn on her birthday.
