Hello, my name is Bear and I'm 81/2 months old. I came to live in Bundeena when I was only 8 weeks old and it's much better than living in the city!

I live on Loftus street and  I see people walking by all the time so I guess that's why they know who I am. People here are very friendly and they always have time to pat me and introduce me to their owners.

My favorite thing to do is run on the beach and have a swim with my buddy Deefer. He and I didn't get along so well at first but now we're best friends and hang out whenever we can. I also love going down to the shops to say hello to my fans, but when Vick goes into the IGA I get a bit worried and tend to bark a bit. I'm sure I'll grow out of it soon. The deer come to visit me as well, especially on Monday's when they come to play skittles with the garbage bins. They're very large, and at first I thought they were dogs but Vick tells me this isn't so. I'll never have antlers, except at Christmas when she sticks those silly green plastic ones on my head. They do seem a bit of a nuisance.

I love to eat chicken and bacon, but I'm not so crazy about leftover mashed potato. Vick tries to give it to me, but I generally refuse to eat it. Hopefully one day she'll give up and just keep giving me chicken or those big juicy bones I love.

Anyway, I think that's about it for now. I'm always available for a chat so drop by and say hello.
