Royal National Park Camping

 Nestled next to the largest waterfall in the in the Royal National Park is Uloola Falls bush campground.
Location Uloola Falls campground is only accessible by foot with no car access. The camp can be reached from the two nearby railway stations at Waterfall or Heathcote. From Waterfall station follow the the Uloola Trail for approximately 5 kms to reach the campsite. The site connects with the Karloo Track and a 4 km walk will take you on to Heathcote station. Alternatively, one can start from Heathcote, camp overnight at Uloola Falls and then head to Waterfall the next day. The falls at Uloola is comprised of two sections. The upper section is composed of a cascading set of falls while the lower section is comprised of a large and long fall. Midway between Uloola Falls and Heathcote station is Karloo Pool which is also worthwhile visit.
Facilities Uloola Falls campground has space for up to 6 tents for a maximum of 18 people. Potable water is not available though the nearby brook could suffice if boiled or treated. A drop toilet is also located near the campsite.
