Road work in the Royal National Park in November  will continue to replace six road drains will result in road closures and detours required from 9:30am – 3:30pm starting Monday 5th November to Friday 30 November 2012 (excluding weekends).

This will impact motorists travelling to and from Garie Beach.

The road will be closed between McKell Avenue / Lady Wakehurst Drive and Sir Bertram Stevens Drive / Bundeena Drive.

As an alternative route through the Royal National Park, motorists must detour along Princes Highway via Farnell Avenue. Please allow extra travel time, the detour can take 40 minutes.

Traffic controllers will be operating in various locations on Sir Bertram Stevens Drive until Friday 30 November 2012.

Keep up-to-date by viewing the mobile electronic sign at the intersection of Bundeena and Maianbar Roads. The message will change if bad weather delays road work and if the road is opened; or visit www.livetraffic.com
