A group of students and teachers from a high school in Sefton have been evacuated from a campsite in the Royal National Park after their camp site was flooded overnight.
An Aboriginal shell midden at Middle Rill, Garie Beach in the Royal National Park is to be protected and restored thanks to the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and the Cabin Communities Landcare Group.
Authorities are preparing to trial a Canadian developed wildlife management system which is hoped to control rusa deer numbers in the Royal National Park.
