National Parks and Wildlife Service in conjunction with Clean Up Australia will be organising a special clean up of Marley beach.

The clean up will occur on Sunday March 1st as part of Clean Up Australia Day activities. Volunteers on the day will be ferried by 4WDs at 9am from Little Marley Gate on Bundeena Drive to Marley beach. They’ll spend the day giving the beach a good makeover by picking up rubbish from the beach, dunes, rock platform and lagoon. Volunteers will be returned to Bundeena Drive by 1pm.

Darren Lewis the head Ranger from the Royal National Park is spearheading the cleanup. He suggests bringing sunscreen, sensible sunwise clothing, water and a camera. Interested volunteers should contact Darren by mobile on 0408 704 044 or by email via ]]> This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it
