Royal National Park Holiday Access

Transport for NSW has announced special measures for access to the Royal National Park, Bundeena and Maianbar over the holiday period.

If driving to Bundeena be sure to refer to our  Bundeena Beach Parking & Access Google Map with handy parking locations and tips that we have provided for visitors.

Holiday Traffic Measures

The Royal National Park is traditionally busy over the Christmas and New Year period. As precincts and car parks reach full at Wattamolla Beach, Garie Beach, Audley, Maianbar and Bundeena, road closures will be implemented.

When parking capacity is reached across all precincts, traffic will only be permitted to travel through the park. If there are significant delays, both the northern and southern entries to the park via Farnell Ave, Loftus and via Lady Wakehurst Dr, Otford will close. Entry will be maintained via McKell Ave in Waterfall for residents only.

Visitors are encouraged to check the Royal National Park local alerts before travelling for updates on precinct access.
