Council has given approval for the new Markets by the Sea with plans for it's grand opening on Sunday August 6th.
The previously reported twelve stalls has been bumped up to eighteen. There will be a variety of art and crafts including jewellery, pottery and drawings. There will also be other activities such as kids face painting, thai massage and a clairvoyant who will hopefully predict a bright future for this new Bundeena monthly event.
For additional info or to apply for a stall contact Dorthy Jennings by email at or in person at the Bundeena News Agency.
The sale of the IGA site has taken a twist with it being put back on the market after the cheque for the most recent offer could not be cashed in. The site had received an offer of $2 million at the auction held July 20th. Twelve registered bidders had attended the auction of which six had actively bid. The five under bidders have been inivited to make offers at another planned auction.
A house located on Bundeena's Horden beach has received a commendation from the The Royal Australian Institute of Architects during it's annual awards.
