Looking for your big break? Bundeena Maianbar residents are being invited to star in the production of music video being filmed around town.

Local opera singer resident Desiree Regina has a Dream Quest and she is determined to achieve it. It is to perform with the great Andre Rieu (the Dutch Violin Conductor). He is coming to Australia this November with his own Orchestra and Castle – he is doing a World Stadium Tour and bringing with him the biggest touring show ever.
 
Desiree starred in the Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera in Europe before upping her roots and moving to Australia. She is herself of Dutch extraction and studied Opera in Maastricht, the home of Rieu.
 
As part of her Dream Quest – Desiree is making a special Comedy Opera Music clip - this September which will involve the whole village of Bundeena & Maianbar from Kayaks, Choirs, Ferries, Violin playing Kids, Café’s, Tourists, Surfers to the Fire Brigade.
 
It is a huge no-budget production produced and directed by Justin Case, the award winning filmmaker – who is another local resident and responsible for the by chance video footage “I was just having a family picnic” of the VW Bus bursting into flames on Bonnievale beach.
 
Case says “We’re not having such dangerous special effects like that for this clip –just a few hundred people - doing fun things”.
