Intersection Upgrades on Princes Highway at Loftus – starts 12 March 2012

Roads and Maritime Services is constructing two u-turn bays on the Princes Highway, near the intersections of Farnell Avenue and Rawson Avenue, Loftus to improve road safety and local access.

Work will start on Monday 12 March 2012 and is expected to be completed by late September 2012, weather permitting.

Work activities include tree trimming and removal, earth works, saw cutting, concreting, asphalting, landscaping, line marking and traffic signal adjustments.

  • Work will take place at night, Sunday to Friday from 8pm to 5am.
  • Minor work may be required during the day from 7am to 5pm. There will be partial lane closures to ensure road worker safety.
