Work has commenced on the first phase of the upgrade to Bundeena's Roger Summers Park.

This phase of the upgrade will include will include adding barbeque and picnic facilities along with installing modern replacements for the existing playground equipment. The upgraded is expected to be completed by mid March.

The works are part of an overall plan to redevelop the existing town centre as previously reported.

Council has been making many improvements around Bundeena in the  last year including the new netball courts and sidewalk additions along with the plans to add a walking track around Bombora Reserve.
