The opening of the Bundeena Visitor Centre is the first of its kind in Sutherland Shire.
The new facility is hosted at The Fringe Cafe located in the town centre and hopes to help boost tourism in the area. The centre has numerous pamphlets and brochures on accommodation and activities in Bundeena Maianbar.
Opening night had representatives from the Sutherland Shire Tourism subcomittee as well local tourist operators from Bundeena Maianbar. Local musician Duncan Chalmers serenaded attendees with Waltzing Matilda and Councillor Lorraine Kelly officially declared the centre open.
The Fringe Cafe was also presented with mascot “Bundee” the crocodile from Symbio Reserve.
