Paint, jazz, opera, it had it all as Bundeena gave a welcome to summer!

The day to welcome summer was an initiative of the Bundeena Maianbar Chamber of Commerce with funding courtesy of Sutherland Shire Council. Though not so sunny a day it didn't deter Bundeena locals from coming out to enjoy the entertainment on hand. The young ones queued at the IGA  for a chance to get their faces painted by Marnie and Marion. Down the road at The Fringe the band was kicking up a storm as the sounds of jazz filled the town centre.

The festivities didn't end there as a packed out Bundeena Picture Gallery was treated to Bundeena's local diva Desiree. She sang a number of songs from here newly released CD which features opera music from movies. The songs were introduced by her colourful (just checkout the pants!) partner Justin Case who recounted the significance of the pieces sung from the various films.
