On Sunday, 9th May 2010, residents of Bundeena may notice an increase in the number of fire trucks in the township and working on the bush/property interface. 

The Bundeena Rural Fire Brigade would like to reassure all residents that this is a planned training scenario that has been planned to provide brigades with training and experience in dealing with bushfire impacting on the Bundeena township.

This training will involve the use of witches hats an other aids to simulate fire and embers. If you do see a fire and there is no fire truck in attendance, you are urged to immediately contact the fire brigade by ringing 000  “
