The Heathcote eloctrate which Bundeena Maianbar are a part of have elected Labour in the last two elections of 2003 and 1999. In fact four of the last five state elections have gone Labour's way.
Roughly 2000 residents are elgible to vote in the area made up of an estimated 48,000 voters for all of Heathcote. In the 2003 election the Coalition would have required and additional 5000 two party prefered votes to have won it.
