The Bundeena Folk Club was reborn last Friday nght in what hopes to be a regular occasion.

Richard and Becky at the Fringe kindly hosted the best of Bundeena Musos and Storytellers. Originally formed in 1999, the folk club has hardly functioned since 2002 mostly due to the variations of management at the old ‘Bounty.’

Thanks to Yuri, perhaps the biggest storyteller in Bundeena, last Friday night was a great revival. With very good musical vibes and lyrics from Jenny, Helen and Rosie, and Duncan, some fifteen or so diners and winers were very warmly entertained on a chilly night. As well, the Aussie Folk Spirit is certain to spread to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival next week as ‘The Fringe Down Under’. Spread the word please as all Bundeena Folky People are invited to the next meet on the first Friday in September. Even you could tell a story – or at least make up one, – and possibly in harmony! ]]>< Previous Next >[ Back ] All content property of Bundeena Info unless indicated otherwise
