WE NEED YOU!

Seeking ‘Bridging the Gap’ Volunteers
Bundeena – Maianbar Art of Living Festival
Sat 14th to Sun 15th March 2009

Are you a resident of Bundeena or Maianbar?

This year step up to be an active participant in our annual Art of Living Festival, by joining our team of volunteers in a special ‘Bridging the Gap’ cultural event.

You don’t need a paint brush or to own the vocal cords of an opera singer- we need you only to be yourself!  We need volunteers for the three components of the event which include: learning and singing a song written by a local musician; participating in the creation of an artistic installation; and volunteers who are willing to interact with visitors to encourage their participation.
These events are about fun and breaking down the barriers in order to create a link between ourselves and our creativity, artists and ‘non artists’, between people and other communities, and ‘Bridging the Gap’ between Bundeena and Maianbar and our neighbours.

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the shared expression of ‘who we are’ and to demonstrate this concept by extending that to our neighbours!  It is about finding a common denominator between people and giving feeling and meaning to what it truly is to live in Bundeena and Maianbar!

Young and old, artists and non-artists alike, join us for the workshops and the big event. We welcome you all. And as a thank you, everyone participating will receive a “Bridging the Gap” kit, specially designed T-Shirt, flyers, food voucher and water.
