Meeting Minutes - April 29th 2008
Highlights

Two members of the Bundeena Chamber of Commerce, Marian Stehouwer and Craig Feldick addressed the meeting. They gave a brief outline of the formation of the group, which is incorporated. Its objectives are to promote activities that will benefit local businesses - there are over 100 in town. They said that the Chamber of Commerce and the Progress Association have many common objectives and that they should work together and support each other. A vote of thanks was passed for the speakers.

Minutes Moved that the minutes of the meeting held on the 25 March 2008 be adopted.

Treasurers Report
Moved that the treasurer's report be accepted and that we pay the hall rent a year in advance

John Muscat, Craig Feldick Moya Turner tabled a document relating to the campaign for an ambulance service.

It was moved that a letter of thanks be sent to council for the excellent upgrade of the shopping centre. Also that we request discussions with council staff with suggestions for some improvements
Moved that we request council to erect a guard rail adjacent to the new statue in Hordern's Park
