General Business

It was moved that we request the installation of No Parking signs in Bundeena Drive near Brighton St.

Zel Jandric, Bernard Swann

The proposed changes to driving licenses for older drivers was discussed at great length. Issues raised were: what are the reasons for this program as older drivers have the best safety record, all submissions should be made public, if it is implemented it should apply from age 65

Moved that the Progress Association ask the RTA, through Paul McLeay, relevant questions before lodging a submission

Robert Westcott, John Gawthorn

John Gawthorn raised about the state of the road through the National Park. The RTA did not repair the worst section starting two kilometres south of Artillery Hill and sections of the recently completed work are already breaking up.

Moved that John Gawthorn draft a letter to the RTA re the condition of the main road between Audley and the Bundeena intersection

John Gawthorn, Zel Jandric

Alan Bow, our president, announced that he is leaving Bundeena and would have to resign from the position of president. Several members spoke about the excellent job done by Alan and that we are sorry that he has to leave. Alan was meticulous in keeping a meeting on track and ensuring that everyone had an opportunity to speak.

A vote of thanks was endorsed by acclamation.
