Bernard Swan suggested that council should investigate stockpiling the spoil from excavation sites in Bundeena for a future use. It would also reduce the number of trucks using the main road. Bob Spencer will speak to the head engineer, Des Hewitt, about the possibility of doing this. Clr Spencer Report Heritage Listing - Bob spoke to the meeting about the application for steps down to the water from a property in Crammond Avenue. The rockface is heritage listed and council determined that this was ground for refusal. Progress, at a previous meeting had considered that this was a minor works and would have a minimal impact on the cliff face.
It was moved that we write to council requesting that a council heritage officer address a Progress meeting and explain the detail and values of heritage listings in Bundeena. Neil deNett, Norma Parry-Williams. Shopping Centre up-grade. Work has commenced and should continue until early October

Norma Parry-Williams, Helen Vogt
General Business Bob Spencer expressed concern that the cost of the new wharves might over-run the estimate and council would have to pay the extra amount. He believed that the ferry service should be funded by the state government, as it is public transport
Members discussed the need for burning off around Bundeena, as the undergrowth is quite dense. Clearing a firebreak would be useful before the summer season begins. Moved that we write to NPWS and the Fire Control Centre requesting that hazard reduction be undertaken in critical areas around Bundeena.
