Committee Reports There is no new information about developments in the commercial area. Clr Spencer Report Bob explained about a development application on the waterfront at Cabbage Tree Point. There was discussion about whether the steps to the water would breach heritage-listing guidelines. It was agreed that the steps would have a minimal impact on the shoreline or rock-face. There are steps adjacent to this site that are much more noticeable. Trucks using Graham St. Bob explained that trucks are permitted to use Graham St during the construction period. Bob tabled plans for the new wharf and for the footpath in Scarborough St near the school. "No Parking" signs on Morgan's Hill have been approved by the traffic committee. Research is to be undertaken on Bundeena Creek Report on boats at Jibbon Beach. Need to restrict the activity as they are adversely impacting on other beach users.
General Business Norma Parry-Williams suggested that the parkland adjacent to the RSL club could be used for parking in busy holiday times. Entry would be off Loftus and exit past the RSL into Tom Jones Way. The parking area could have a permeated surface, suitable signage and maintain a grassy area south of the memorial. Moved Norma Parry-Williams, seconded Bob Parry-Williams that that Progress write to council requesting consideration for this proposal. Copy to Gwynne Cleeves at SSC. Moved that Progress write to council requesting a review of the proposed parking arrangement in the shopping centre. Our preference is to retain the present parking, that is with parallel parking on the shop side of the road. Alan Petersen, Norma Parry-Williams Meeting closed at 9.30 PM @Bundeena Community Centre
