The upcoming Bundeena Progress Association Annual General Meeting will provide local residents an opportunity to have a direct voice in shaping the future of the Bundeena Maianbar area.
At the AGM the following roles will be open for election to any local resident or land owner:
- President/Chairman
- Deputy chairman
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Committee members (upto 12)
The BPA dates back 65 years and is a volunteer based organisation which meets monthly to discuss local community issues and concerns. It is open to everyone who lives here or owns land here. You don't have to 'join up'. Everyone who attends is free to speak.
Whoever comes to those meetings is the BPA. It's the views and the votes at those meetings that are the BPA views which are expressed from time to time by the elected officers such as the President and Secretary.
If you want to get involved and have a voice on community issues then the BPA is your forum. However, without community involvement the BPA will dissapear and residents will be limited to only local pollies to raise concerns to. Meeting to be held Saturday 24 February 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Bundeena Community Hall
