The 2008 edition of the Bundeena Maianbar Art of Livingdrew out the sun along with big crowds to join in the festivities.
This years dog show was fiercely contested. Best dressed saw a variety of apparel including fire brigade gear, spider legs and the highly original hotdog oufit. Best trick was no less competitive with several displays of hoop jumping, roll overs as well as the traditional sit. This year's show saw a new competition in the form of a a dog race on the oval. It was a fifty metre mad dash from one side of the oval to the other though for some competitors not always in a straight line.
This years festival saw the introduction of an interactive workshop marquee on the festival grounds. A number of presentations and classes were held including colour therapy, kayaking and pottery making.
As always a great musical lineup rounded out the day. Mantaza got the crowd shaking to the latin rhythms and then Kingtide saw the crowd groove to their reggae beats. Local musos BAMM (Bundeena and Maianbar Musicians) finished off the day with an array of blues & rock classics.
